This month I read a disappointing number of four and a half books! I've just been so busy this month with school starting and homework that I haven't been able to get any solid reading done, which I'm really sad about.
For all of these books I have posted reviews (most of them are spoiler-free), you can find them by clicking on the review category and then scroll through until you find the review you're looking for. All of these months reviews will be right at the top, so they should be quite easy to find.
Flame (#3 Sky Chasers Trilogy) by Amy Kathleen Ryan ~ 336 Pages ~ Rating : 4/5
This was probably one of my favourite book that I read this month! I had previously read the first two books and really enjoyed them and I think that Flame was a great conclusion for the series.
Fire Colour One by Jenny Valentine ~ 256 Pages ~ Rating 3.75/5 I originally rated this book a three on my review, but since I've had a think about it and decided to up it ever so slightly.
I only brought this book because I saw she was doing a signing in Manchester (which is quite near me), unfortunately I couldn't go, but I saw the book in Waterstones on 'buy one get one half price' and decided to see how it is anyway. I really enjoyed it, but I think the reason I gave it quite an average rating was because I don't really think I was in the right mood to start it. Otherwise, I thought it was a great book.
The Art of Being Normal by Lisa Williamson ~ 368 Pages ~ Rating : 4/5
This was actually a re-read for me and both times I've absolutely loved this book. For those of you who haven't heard of this then it's a contemporary book with the two main characters being LGBQT+. This book always hits me right in the heart and I love it!
PLEASE READ THIS BOOK!
The Sin Eater's Daughter by Melinda Salisbury ~ 336 Pages ~ Rating : 4/5
This book was amazing! I was tempted to rate this book a bit higher at 5/5, but I decided to stick with this. The twists in this book were unreal and they left me desperately wanting more.
Also, Melinda Salisbury has releases the cover and release date for The Sleeping Prince and I can't wait for June next year!! This one might actually have to be my first pre-order because I need it the minute it's released! I need to know what happens!
Now you might be wondering what I mean by 'and a half'!
Well, I started to read Shadows by Paula Weston! ~ I am currently 220 pages in and really enjoying it though I'm waiting for a huge twist to come, I can feel as if there will be one! If you've read it then does the huge twist come??
Also, I read the first 20 or so pages of The Cardturner by Louis Sachar! I think I'm really gonna enjoy this one as I've loved his other books.
Total Pages Read this month : 1536
