Collective Book Haul! (December - April)
It's been quite a long time since I've done a book haul. I'd like to say that's because I just haven't been buying books, but I'd be lieing! I have been buying books, but nowhere near as many as I had previously and I quite pleased with this. However, this book haul is quite big as it's just been building and building up over the months and I've finally decided that it's time to get it over and done with. I'm going to keep this as brief as I can, so I'm just going to list the books with synopsis' and links etc and that's about it. I'm going to sort them into categories as best as I can, so there is still a little bit more than just a list, but I don't want this post to get too long!
Without further ado, here's my rather large book haul!

I want to be the girl who can do anything.
Everyone thinks they know Jack Masselin, too. Yes, he’s got swagger, but he’s also mastered the impossible art of giving people what they want, of fitting in. What no one knows is that Jack has a newly acquired secret: he can’t recognize faces. Even his own brothers are strangers to him. He’s the guy who can re-engineer and rebuild anything, but he can’t understand what’s going on with the inner workings of his brain. So he tells himself to play it cool: Be charming. Be hilarious. Don’t get too close to anyone.

Anyway, those were all the books I've collected since December. If you've read any of them let me know which ones and what you thought of them below.
Signed Book Haul!
This is quite an unusual post for me to write, because I don't think I've ever done one of these posts before, but in that last couple of months I've somehow collected quite a few signed books. I have a total of 5 books to mention below; 2 of these are preorders and then the other 3 I bought in Waterstones Piccadilly when I went to London at the end of October.
Anyway, let's get into the book haul...
The first of the signed preorders I got recently was Girl Online: Going Solo by Zoe Sugg, which is the third book in the Girl Online trilogy.
I know there is a lot of controversy going around about this series, specifically the first book, but I did enjoy the first book and thought I'd at least give the other two a go. I am also a subscriber of Zoe, so I was obviously going to give the series a go.
I loved the first book and do own the second book, but haven't yet read it, but I saw a signed copy of the third book on WHSMITH and just had to preorder it.
I'm hoping to continue on with this series this month/early next year.
Incase you don't know what this series is about I'll leave a Goodreads link to the first book.

The second signed preorder I made was for Username: Regenerated by Joe Sugg, the sequel to Username: Evie.
If you didn't already know Joe is Zoe's sister and is also a youtuber that I watch, so when Username: Evie was released I did purchase it, but just havent yet read it.
This was also a signed preorder through WHSMITH and so I just had to get it. I'm also hoping to read this series this month or early next year and because they're graphic novels, they shouldn't take me too long to get through.
If you don't know what the series is about, I'll leave a Goodreads link below for the first book.

The first signed book I picked up at Waterstones Piccadilly is Remix by Non Pratt. I'd wanted to read this book for so long, so when I saw a signed copy I just had to get it.
Near where I live, I don't find signed copies too often in store, so you can imagine I got quite excited when I saw quite a lot of signed books in this Waterstones. Plus it was something like a 5 floor store as well. 5 whole floors full of books. I was in literal heaven, no joke. If you ever get the chance to go into that store, I really suggest that you do.
Anyway, I'm not too sure what this book is about because I've forgotten, but I'll include a copy of the synopsis below.
From the author of Trouble comes a new novel about boys, bands and best mates.
Kaz is still reeling from being dumped by the love of her life... Ruby is bored of hearing about it. Time to change the record.
Three days. Two best mates. One music festival. Zero chance of everything working out.
I'm not sure when I'll read this, but I'm really looking forward to when I do.
BD (FREE WW SHIPPING) - http://www.bookdepository.com/Remix-Non-Pratt-Jimmy-Turrell/9781406347708?ref=grid-view
The next book I picked up was The Map of Bones by Francesca Haig, which has a bit of a story behind it.
When I picked it up I had a feeling it might be a sequel to something, but I read the synopsis and it had no mention of a previous book or that it was a sequel, It sounded really interesting, so I purchased it.
When I got back home, I searched it up on Goodreads and it turns out it is the sequel to The Fire Sermon.
I'm not sure when I'll read this book because I'm going to have to find/borrow a copy of the first book, The Fire Sermon first.

The last signed book I got recently was Saint Death by Marcus Sedgwick. This was the third and final book I got when in Waterstones Piccadilly.
I've read quite a few of Marcus Sedgwick's books (mainly from the library) and I've come to love his writing a lot. When this book first came out I didn't really know much and didn't really think about buying it. Though, because he is one of my favourite authors I just had to pick it up when I saw a signed copy, so I'm very happy that I found this and can't wait to read it.
Here's the synopsis:
A potent, powerful and timely thriller about migrants, drug lords and gang warfare set on the US/Mexican border by prize-winning novelist, Marcus Sedgwick.
Anapra is one of the poorest neighbourhoods in the Mexican city of Juarez - twenty metres outside town lies a fence - and beyond it - America - the dangerous goal of many a migrant. Faustino is one such trying to escape from the gang he's been working for. He's dipped into a pile of dollars he was supposed to be hiding and now he's on the run. He and his friend, Arturo, have only 36 hours to replace the missing money, or they're as good as dead. Watching over them is Saint Death. Saint Death (or Santissima Muerte) - she of pure bone and charcoal-black eye, she of absolute loyalty and neutral morality, holy patron to rich and poor, to prostitute and narco-lord, criminal and police-chief. A folk saint, a rebel angel, a sinister guardian.

Anyway, that was my signed book haul! Thanks for reading and if you've read any of the books above let me know what your thoughts are down below.
Birthday Book Haul!
My birthday was on October 16th and I did get quite a lot of books without meaning to. I know this post is really late, but I did one of these last year I think and it got quite a lot of views and some of you did like it, so I thought I'd do it again this year. I did write this post back in October, but I just forgot to post it, so that's why it's being posted now.
I just want to say I'm not trying to brag and I am really grateful for all of the things I received. I'm basically going to try and keep this post short when I can, but I will still include each books' synopsis, so you can have a look at them if you want to.
Anyway, let's get into my 'Birthday Book Haul'!
I went birthday shopping with my mum and before we went home, I wanted to have a look at the big Asda near where we were, so we did. A lot of you might know from my previous book hauls, but whenever I go there, I can guarantee I'll walk out with at least two books. They have so many YA books there for a supermarket and they always have offers on the majority of them like 2 for £7 etc, so it's pretty hard not to get a couple of books. Anyway, all but one of the books below are from there and so I'll start with the one book that I didn't get at Asda.
The one book I didn't get from Asda was Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets: Illustrated Edition by J.K. Rowling and Illustrated by Jim Kay.
I had talked nonestop about this book for weeks before my birthday and turns out my mum had ordered it for me. I am so happy to have this as I do also have the illustrated version of the first book as well and they are both so gorgeous and look so good together. I can't wait for the future ones!
The Dursleys were so mean and hideous that summer that all Harry Potter wanted was to get back to the Hogwarts School for Witchcraft and Wizardry. But just as he's packing his bags, Harry receives a warning from a strange, impish creature named Dobby who says that if Harry Potter returns to Hogwarts, disaster will strike.
And strike it does. For in Harry's second year at Hogwarts, fresh torments and horrors arise, including an outrageously stuck-up new professor, Gilderoy Lockhart, a spirit named Moaning Myrtle who haunts the girls' bathroom, and the unwanted attentions of Ron Weasley's younger sister, Ginny. But each of these seem minor annoyances when the real trouble begins, and someone, or something, starts turning Hogwarts students to stone. Could it be Draco Malfoy, a more poisonous rival than ever? Could it possibly be Hagrid, whose mysterious past is finally told? Or could it be the one everyone at Hogwarts most suspects: Harry Potter himself?

The rest of the books are from Asda:
Super Awkward by Beth Garrod
I have already read this and may have a review for it coming soon!
I, Bella Fisher, am absolutely WINNING at FAILING at life.
1. I once got my tongue stuck to a box of Calippos in a supermarket.
2. I accidentally called my geography teacher Mum. Twice. He wasn't impressed.
3. I'm a geek. And not in a geek-chic kind of way, but in a secretly-caring-about-failing-maths-and-science way.
4. I always fail maths and science.
So it figures that when I meet the FITTEST BOY IN THE WORLD, Zac, I'm doing solo star jumps. While dressed as a cereal box.
(NOTE TO SELF, fancy dress = HE-WILL-NEVER-EVER-FANCY-ME dress.)
Now I've got to somehow persuade Zac to come to prom with me while avoiding my evil ex and dealing with a secret so mega-awks I want to Ctrl-Z my brain... What could go wrong?
Oh yeah, that's right. Absolutely everything.

Our Chemical Hearts by Krystal Sutherland
John Green meets Rainbow Rowell in this irresistible story of first love, broken hearts, and the golden seams that put them back together again.
Henry Page has never been in love. He fancies himself a hopeless romantic, but the slo-mo, heart palpitating, can't-eat-can't-sleep kind of love that he's been hoping for just hasn't been in the cards for him—at least not yet. Instead, he's been happy to focus on his grades, on getting into a semi-decent college and finally becoming editor of his school newspaper. Then Grace Town walks into his first period class on the third Tuesday of senior year and he knows everything's about to change.
Grace isn't who Henry pictured as his dream girl—she walks with a cane, wears oversized boys' clothes, and rarely seems to shower. But when Grace and Henry are both chosen to edit the school paper, he quickly finds himself falling for her. It's obvious there's something broken about Grace, but it seems to make her even more beautiful to Henry, and he wants nothing more than to help her put the pieces back together again. And yet, this isn't your average story of boy meets girl. Krystal Sutherland's brilliant debut is equal parts wit and heartbreak, a potent reminder of the bittersweet bliss that is first love.
The Potion Diaries: The Royal Tour (Potion #2) by Amy Alward
I have also read this one and am thinking of including it in a mini-reviews post or if not it'll be in my November wrap-up.
Since winning the Hunt and saving her new BFF, Princess Evelyn, Sam Kemi has been royally busy.. What with TV interviews, working in her family’s potion store and preparing to join Evelyn on her world tour, Sam STILL hasn’t had time for a real date with Zain, her new-boyfriend-slash-former-rival.
And that’s not happening anytime soon. Someone has tampered with Sam’s grandad’s mind and she is the only one who can unlock his memories. Memories that contain the key to the most powerful potion in the world and one which people would kill for . . .
So Sam must swap dresses, princes and palaces for dragons, centaurs and caves in her quest to save her grandad (and everyone else).
Just your standard episode in the life of a potion-making teenager, then.

Anyway, that was my birthday book haul! Thanks for reading and if you've read any of the books above let me know which ones and what you thought of them.
February Book Haul!
This months book haul is quite larger than my previous ones therefore to save time I'm going to change the way I format my book hauls. When I do my bookhauls I always insert the picture of a book in and then talk a bit about what I THINK it's about and I normally just write a load of rubbish. So what I'm going to do instead is copy in the synopsis' in for each book so you can actually KNOW what each book is about. Therefore, I won't really be talking much about each one as it's not necessary. I will still be talking a bit here and there but it will be quite different.
I'm sort of just doing this as a tester, so if you guys don't like it then comment on this blog post and I can always change it back to my normal setup, if I get no comments I will just carry on doing this method so please let me know below.
Anyway, this month I have a total of 15 (I think?) book to haul so let's get into it!
This month I decided to go to the library and order a book in and then when I went to return it I may have took another two books out. (Oops!) Though I didn't pay for these I thought I may as well throw them in here as well so here they are.
Naomi&Ely's No Kiss List by Rachel Cohn & David Levithan
Naomi and Ely are best friends. Naomi loves and is in love with Ely, and Ely loves Naomi, but prefers to be in love with boys. So they create their "No Kiss List" of people neither of them is allowed to kiss. And this works fine…until Bruce.
Bruce is Naomi's boyfriend, so there's no reason to put him on the List. But when Ely kisses Bruce, the result is a rift of universal proportions. Can these best friends come back together again? Or will this be the end of Naomi and Ely: the institution?
Told in alternating voices using an array of emoticons and symbols by co-authors Rachel Cohn and David Levithan, co-author of WILL GRAYSON, WILL GRAYSON with John Green (THE FAULT IN OUR STARS), NAOMI AND ELY’S NO KISS LIST is the ultimate offbeat love—and in love—story.
I have actually finished reading this and overall it was okay. I do talk about it more in my February Wrap-Up which I'll link below.
Also, if you want a review then comment down below and I'll do one. Be prepared that it will be quite ranty.

The Sleeper and the Spindle by Neil Gaiman
A thrillingly reimagined fairy tale from the truly magical combination of author Neil Gaiman and illustrator Chris Riddell – weaving together a sort-of Snow White and an almost Sleeping Beauty with a thread of dark magic, which will hold readers spellbound from start to finish.
On the eve of her wedding, a young queen sets out to rescue a princess from an enchantment. She casts aside her fine wedding clothes, takes her chain mail and her sword and follows her brave dwarf retainers into the tunnels under the mountain towards the sleeping kingdom. This queen will decide her own future – and the princess who needs rescuing is not quite what she seems. Twisting together the familiar and the new, this perfectly delicious, captivating and darkly funny tale shows its creators at the peak of their talents.
Lavishly produced, packed with glorious Chris Riddell illustrations enhanced with metallic ink, this is a spectacular and magical gift.

I paid a visit to the big Waterstones about an hour away (therefore I don't really go often) and I may have picked up three books. The one I'm about to mention I paid full price for and then the other two I got on the Buy One Get One Half Price Offer.
Am I Normal Yet? (Normal #1) by Holly Bourne

How Hard Can Love Be? (Normal #2) by Holly Bourne
Amber, Evie and Lottie: three girls facing down tough issues with the combined powers of friendship, feminism and cheesy snacks. Both hilarious and heart-rending, this is Amber’s story of how painful – and exhilarating – love can be, following on from Evie’s story in Am I Normal Yet?
All Amber wants is a little bit of love. Her mum has never been the caring type, even before she moved to California, got remarried and had a personality transplant. But Amber's hoping that spending the summer with her can change all that.
And then there's prom king Kyle, the guy all the girls want. Can he really be interested in anti-cheerleader Amber? Even with best friends Evie and Lottie's advice, there's no escaping the fact: love is hard.
